Who We Are

The Order of Melchizedek is a kingly and priestly order. The word Melchizedek means “King of Righteousness” and is also referenced to as a priest of the Most High God and “King of Peace.” (Hebrews 7:1-2) Jesus Christ was designated as the High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. (Hebrews 6:20)

Believers in the scriptures are referred to as kings and priests. (1 Peter 2:9-11, Revelation 5:12) The purpose of Melchizedek Christian Church is to help train and equip believers to reign and minister as both kings and priests of the most high God according to the Order of Melchizedek.

Only three references in scripture refer to the Order of Melchizedek: Genesis 14:18-21, Psalms 110, Hebrews 5, 6, and 7. The Melchizedek Order both preceded and superseded the Levite priesthood. (Hebrews 7:11-28) The understanding of the order of Melchizedek comes not only through the study of scriptures but through revelation and hearing God’s voice. (Hebrews 5:9-11)
