Joshua Prior and myself had another amazing trip to the city of São Paulo. We spent time ministering to the youth, played soccer with them, and took them out for Brazilian hamburgers - which were actually pretty good. We challenged the youth in their relationship with Christ and listened to their stories of what God was doing in their lives, encouraging them to continue. 

Morgan Champion, and myself arrived in Sao Paulo but had no idea what we were about to experience. It wasn't a trip overfilled with activity as some trips are, but one in which we were able to spend personal time with individuals living there in Sao Paulo. More than anything, we learned to relax and hear and see what God was doing in the moment.

I arrived in São Paulo, Brazil the 13 of Febuary to see a good friend of mine, Asafe Ribeiro de Morais, get married. Asafe has been one of my translators for nearly eight years and a close friend. My own father, Archie Jordan, whose song "What a Difference You Made in My Life" became a huge hit in Brazil, spent time with and ministered in the church of His father, Pastor Vanderlei...

 We began in the city of Sao Paulo, spending time with a group of youth. These amazing young guys and girls grew up and currently reside in the drug and gang infested slums of Sao Paulo. They see things every day many Americans never have to see in their entire lives...

This trip to Brazil brought many unexpected surprises...

Joshua and I were busy talking to so many different people about the simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Namely, that He has given us His Holy Spririt who has been given to us to guide and direct us...

Joshua and I began the trip preaching and ministering in the favelas of Heliopolis and the City of God in São Paulo, Brazil.  It is good to see spiritual growth of people living in such harsh conditions...

  One of the biggest highlights of this trip took place in the City of God, which is a very rough favela (slum) in São Paulo, Brazil where many women are left alone with their children and don't know what to do with themselves...

Our mission trip to Brazil was amazing. My father, Archie Jordan,  played  the Portuguese version of his song “What a Difference You Made My Life”  in several churches in São Paulo...

Our time in Brazil was very productive. Here is a picture taken outside of the  Samba school where  over 1000 people lost their homes due to a fire...
